“He was a practitioner of what you might call tough love,” former Speaker John A. Boehner quipped with the crowd of the late Rep. John Dingell at Holy Trinity Church. Boehner spoke of the former representative’s strength of belief, straightforward demeanor and distaste for cigarettes at the funeral.
