The 2016 presidential election and subsequent probe into Russian interference revealed the security weaknesses in America’s voting infrastructure that experts have been looking into for years. University of Michigan Computer Science Professor J. Alex Halderman — an expert on electronic voting machines — spoke with Roll Call to answer questions about election security for the 2018 midterms and future elections.
