Activists Throw a ‘Kegger’ Outside McConnell’s DC Home Friday Morning

The group Center for Popular Democracy Action organized a protest outside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s home in Washington on Friday, the day a key procedural vote is planned on the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Protesters chanted “chug” and “we like beer” to comment on Kavanaugh’s answers during a hearing last week into allegations of sexual assault when he was in high school and allegedly drinking.
