Denham Tells Fundraiser Crowd He’ll Get Transportation Panel’s Gavel

Rep. Jeff Denham, R-California, spoke at a fundraising event hosted by the Modesto Republican Women Federated, where he said that he would be chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the next Congress if he’s re-elected. But he’s not the only member seeking that top spot. Correction: Denham is running for his fifth term in Congress, not his fourth.
