House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was in New Mexico on Tuesday where she endorsed Deb Haaland, who is running to be the first Native American woman in Congress. Pelosi spoke about the importance of passing a new Violence Against Women Act, which has expanded protections for Native American women.
