Democrats Hope to Extend Violence Against Women Act

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Minority Whip Steny Hoyer and Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee spoke about the need to extend the Violence Against Women Act. The bill expires at the end of September, and the new proposal includes help to domestic violence victims to stay in stable housing.
