Flake Slams Trump For ‘Treason’ Comments

GOP Sen. Jeff Flake offered a rebuke of President Donald Trump’s assertion that congressional Democrats are “treasonous” for not applauding during his State of the Union. “One who levels such a charge knows neither the meaning of treason, nor the power that the words of a president carry,” the Arizona senator said on the floor Tuesday afternoon.
