A Georgia man accused of making repeated threats to Rep. John Lewis and his staff has pleaded guilty in federal court.

Dante Antoine Rosser, 43, agreed to a plea deal on Friday that calls for an 18-month prison sentence followed by three years of supervised release, The Associated Press reported.

For nearly a year, from March 2016 to February 2017, Rosser threatened Lewis’ staff in Atlanta and Washington, prosecutor Phyllis Clerk said in court.

Rosser even showed up to Lewis’ Atlanta office, giving the employees there “grave concerns.”

Rosser threatened to “splatter their heads all over the ground” when he called 46 times over the course of two days, per a sworn statement from a U.S. Capitol Police agent. He sought “financial reparations” for his family, but it was unclear what the circumstances of that request were.

Rosser’s sentencing is set for April 23. His 18-month stint behind bars is binding, pending the judge’s signature on the agreement.
