Ryan on Texas Shooting: We Need to Enforce Gun Laws We Already Have

Following reports that the U.S. Air Force had erred in not submitting the Sutherland Springs, Texas shooting suspect into a federal database that would have prevented him from legally purchasing a firearm due to a domestic assault conviction, Speaker Paul D. Ryan told reporters Tuesday that the country needs to enforce the gun laws “on the books” rather than crafting new gun control legislation.
