House Majority Whip Steve Scalise’s speech to his fellow representatives Thursday capped off a long recovery from a shooting in June that nearly took his life. Roll Call House Leadership reporter Lindsey McPherson spoke to several of Scalise’s colleagues as they left the chamber.
