McCain’s Message to the Senate: Ignore the Pundits, Do Good Work

The Arizona Republican was diagnosed with brain cancer last week but took a break from treatment to cast a crucial vote to proceed with debate on the health care overhaul. McCain, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, says his other top priority while in town for a few days is to manage floor debate on the Defense authorization bill. He’ll then head back to Arizona for treatment.
