Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley is using an online survey to help find a replacement for Sen. Jeff Sessions, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for attorney general. 

Bentley, a Republican, sent an online survey to the Alabama GOP’s executive committee asking who they preferred to replace Sessions, the Montgomery Advertiser reported.

“The person who replaces Sen. Sessions must uphold the Constitution, value the rights of the Second Amendment, the rights of the states, support pro-life issues, implement a strong national security policy, support domestic job creation and, most importantly, always put Alabama first,” a message signed by appointments director Will Edwards read.

The questionnaire, hosted by SurveyMonkey, asks members of the committee for their candidate nomination and a question to ask potential candidates.

According to state party chairwoman Terry Lathan, there are more than 400 members on the executive committee.
