Senate Majority PAC and the National Education Association Advocacy Fund are launching a $1.4 million ad Tuesday that hits Republican Rep. Todd Young in the Indiana Senate race.

The ad, shared first with Roll Call, accuses Young of siding with companies that ship American jobs overseas.

“When Carrier shipped Indiana jobs to Mexico — workers needed a congressman on their side. But Todd Young took contributions from the company and its executives — even after the announcement,” the ad says of Young and the air-conditioner manufacturer.

Young is running against Democratic former Sen. Evan Bayh for the seat being vacated by retiring GOP Sen. Dan Coats. The race is rated Tilts Democrat by The Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call.
