The Republican National Convention kicks off in Cleveland on Monday. While it’s unlikely that Donald Trump can be denied the nomination, those unhappy with his ascendancy – both inside and outside the arena – are likely to make their voices heard. So will the likes of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan, who are among the few elected officials willing to show up at the convention. CQ Roll Call Chief Content Officer David Ellis provides this forecast on what to expect. Will the Republican Party look back at this week as the start of the Trump revolution, or come to regard it as the mistake on the Lake?
