In a joint press conference in Atlanta with ministers from 11 other nations, U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman announced that a deal on the Trans-Pacific Partnership had been reached. He said negotiators still must work on technical details before final text and a legal review can be released to the public. Congress is not expected to vote on it before 2016.
