Obama Calls Boehner ‘A Good Man’

On the heels of Speaker John A. Boehner’s announcement that he will resign at the end of October, President Obama discussed their relationship, their disagreements and his expectations for the rest of Boehner’s term. “John Boehner is a good man,” Obama said. “He is a patriot, he cares deeply about the House. … He cares about his constituents and he cares about America.”
