After the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch announced five months of gaps in Hillary Rodham Clinton’s released emails, State Department Spokesperson John Kirby told reporters there were no gaps, aside from the first few months of Clinton’s tenure when she was using a different email address. “A very quick look at the documents by an official here at the State Department revealed a potential gap of about a month or so in emails,” Kirby said. “But in going through them in a more fulsome manner after that, we’ve determined that, in fact, there was no gap, that — that that time period is covered quite well by the emails that have been provided.”
