Reid ‘Waiting’ to Take Position on Iran Deal

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid refused to take a position on the Iran nuclear deal announced Tuesday, saying it is “unfair” for lawmakers to stake out positions on a deal they haven’t yet read. “I think what I’m going to do — and I recommend this to all senators — let’s find out what we have first,” Reid said. “I don’t know what’s in the agreement, I have a broad outline of the agreement, I want to find out what is going to transpire with some hearings the Republicans said they were going to hold and we’re going to have briefings from the White House that will be extensive in nature, so I’m just going to wait and see.” Read more.
